Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.
Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.
The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.
The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.
As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.
One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by.
Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.
Days and weeks passed.
One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths, only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.
As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.
Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside.
He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed.
It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window
The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.
She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."
Epilogue:
There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.
Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.
If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy.

First day of my 5 days of LAN classes. !!!
whole of sam march intake went to lecture theater 2 to have fun for 6 hrs.. lol
lol.. guess what was the first thing my teacher said when he came in...
"SHET UP SHET UP !"
lol... then everyone laugh.. tht teacher is super hilarious.... he kept promising to tell us his name but till now he haven told us yet.. =.= ""
the first activity was WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE..
got 6 classes.. so one class one representative.. lol. then got one bunch of scholarship students from bank negara also...
lol. the host was super funny.. he's a chinese fella.. so his english isn't that well.. he kept saying the same phrase for every candidate...
"So, you ready for da nex queston ?" *he's slang*
the teacher was super duper funny till i laugh till tears.. lol.. i can't remember when was the last time i laugh till tears drop.. lol
my teacher is an indian.. so he has he's slang..

Life
How's college ? How's SAM ? How's Taylor's ?
wellll......... xD
College ??? it's just a freaking building.. =.=
SAM ?? it's just a freaking programme.. =.= "
Taylor's ?? it's just a freaking college .. =.= " "
lol... so lame..
despite the fact that college is from 8am to 4pm, 6 hours a day (express class) , we have no proper classroom, it's ookaaaaaaaaayyyyy i guessss...
butt.... form 5 life was still the bestest of the bestest, funnest of the funnest, coolest of the coolest, memorablest of the memorablest....
lets start allll over...
pre-school...
i was too young.. tadika chim was too small.. i dun remember a thing.. =.= "
std 1 to std 6
puay chai.... they said it's a good school.. but u tell me... still... not very memorable... except the fact that me and my std6 frens crash our class room on our std 6 graduation.. lol.. oh and that i failed my uprs.

dam blurr.. the new kid.. or as they call it... freshmans... duno anything.. get lost in smdu

not bad.. quite fun... but still.. afternoon session..

morning session.. wake up early the morning... pmr stress.. not too bad...

new subjects came in.. quite blurr. but not as bluurrr as form 1...

the highlight of the life time !!!
despite the SPM stress... it was the best year of my life.. but still.. spm brought us all together closer... well at least my class... 5 kempas 08 ~ together wit pn rafidah, our class teacher, pn zulaikha, cik liang, pn khoo, pn wong, pn tang, pn loh, pn paramjeet, pn shaja..... good year... fun year... too bad it only lasted a year...

IT AIN'T NO RESORT.. lol
yea.... ns wasnt awesome la.... the best part was the m16 and the one day one night camping (wirajaya) lol
yea.. i love the competition also.... got

eh the competition is seriously damn fun....
yea.... met lots of GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD friends there...
better then anybody in school.... such nice people... lol
we're devided into 4 groups la... so like.. initially for my group... there was this bunch of chinese guys.. sandakan... i didn't really talked to them at first.. i don't know why too.. that's the saddest part in the world... untill like mid feb.. that's the part where we were close since we all stayed together in a room in tawau for the m16.. and then only i found out how nice those ppl are.....
never judge a book by it's cover....
...so there's like 3 weeks for us to understand each other.. lol...
all of them are seriously such nice ppl... all the chinese there.. some bumi and malays also.. but.. u get it..
like one week before the camp ends... all of us were so anxious to go home... but during the last night.. there were all the last closing ceremony performances.... all sad song came out.. yea... kept thinking... i would never EVER EVR in my life gonna see all of them together again... so tears couldn't stop flowing.... like for hours..
so the next day ... missed each other lo... then the ppl from semenanjung have to go home the first.. flight at 9... so 7 have to leave.. then after we line up.. all the trainers gave us 2 mins (suppose to be longer.. but since we lined up late.. lol) so say good bye.. to hug. to kiss everyone lo... take photo... sweet memories... .. now.. is like i've woken up from a sweet.. memorable dream...
then reach home... i'm sisterless... she's having fun in melbourne now.. =(
then go home.. was too tired.... that night only slept for 2 hrs.... then slept.. then next morning wake up wit no feeling at all.. lol... no fear or excitemnet... then go to school take result...
take result d but haven see yet.. still no feeling.. untill everyone gotten their results.. all crying of joy and saddnes.. then i asked to dearest pn rafidah.. then she was so dissapointed... she said my class only got 5 ppl get 8 a's and above.....
that's the part where i paniced... sat down... took a piece of paper to close my results.. then one bby one see the results... then cry again.. =.= ... of joy or saddness ?? who knows...
